International Antarctic Centre

The International Antarctic Centre has reopened its doors after being closed for a short period post-earthquake 22 February 2011.

Today it is available for dinner and cocktail functions within the Centre, and offers an adjoining marquee lawn for large events.

This unique facility provides superb theming opportunities and spectacular experiences of life on the frozen continent: Sunset on Ice, White Christmas, Hagglund rides, Antarctic Storm, Titanic Iceberg party.

Quietly elegant with subtle blue and white decor with marble flooring, the Antarctic Centre offers flexible function facilities from small modern meeting rooms to a gala dinner for up to 600 guests.
